Fundraising

We’re kicking off this academic year with our annual ceilidh, supporting housing and community projects at The Edinburgh Refugee Sponsorship Circle. The ceilidh will be on Thursday 18th September at 7:30 at Lauriston Hall, and tickets are available on the EUSA website.

In the new year, we will also be organising a charity concert, showcasing talented musicians in Edinburgh, while raising lots of money for a good cause.

And we also hold smaller events across the year, including pub quizzes, craft socials and bake sales.

Our lovely fundraising coordinators, Molly and Conor, are working to raise money for STAR’s partner charities and for our own running costs throughout the year. You can expect lots of fantastic events that build community, allow you to meet new people, and support causes that improve the lives of refugees.

Attending or helping with fundraising events is a great way to get stuck in with STAR, and help refugees in our community.
